^^Calvisius Siberian Royal Caviar 30g

Item No. CLV001

Description

Siberian caviar comes from Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii). Native to the fluvial basins of Siberia and the Baikal Lake, this sturgeon species has a moderate size with a weight between 8 to 40kg and it reaches its maturation at around 8 years. Siberian caviar is characterised by medium-sized roe (from 2.2 to 2.7 millimeter diameter), which varies in colour from dark grey to amber.

Aromatic and elegant, with a smooth and velvety texture, Siberian caviar has a delicate and pure taste with pleasant notes of seaweed and hazelnut.
Perfect to eat on its own, spread on soft bread or blinis, Calvisius Siberian Royal caviar pairs perfectly with potatoes and sour cream accompanied by Brut Champagne or vodka.

Calvisius 100% Italian caviar is made from sturgeons farmed in the heart of the Po Valley, in Lombardy region. The unique characteristics of the pure spring water that flows in the area combined with Calvisius’ Master Caviar expertise and passion make this caviar one of the most exquisite delicacies in the world.
Founded in the 1970s, Calvisius uses cutting-edge production methods and traditional manual techniques to preserve the sensory characteristics, wholesomeness and freshness of the best quality caviar.
All Calvisius caviar is produced following the traditional Russian “Malossol” methods which requires the use of only a small amount of salt for the preparation of the caviar, enhancing and preserving the natural flavours and organoleptic properties of the roe.

Calvisius, thanks to its sustainable farming techniques, has been awarded with the “Friend of the Sea” certificate for its commitment and contribution to the safeguard of the endangered sturgeon species.
