Levoni company was founded in 1911 by Ezechiello Levoni, who decided to start his business near Milan following the ancient art of artisanal butchery. Top quality ingredients, tradition and passion have always been at the heart of Levoni's history since the very beginning. In 1913, after only two years form its establishment, Levoni took part in the Internatioanl Modern Arts&Industry Exhibition in London, where Levoni Salame Ungherese was awarded with the prestigious gold medal. Over a century and four generations later, Levoni is still faithful for those principles that made it possible to achieve such a great result, that can be summerized in "goodness done well". In 1923 the production has been moved to Castellucchio, a village near Mantua, in Lombardy region, where the company grew in size and started to expand its range of traditional Italian salumi.

All Levoni charcuterie products are made from pigs born, raised and processed in Italy. In 2016, Levoni established the "Entirely Made in Italy" brand to certify the origin of their meats, which represents a remarkable commitment to the their customers. An act of maximum transparency to guarantee that not just a line of products, but the whole Levoni range is produced from meats coming from carefully selected Italian farms. 
Levoni production chain is certified at every stage. Starting from the study and the selection of the best breeds to the processing stage, every step of the chain is carefully inspected and controlled to ensure the best quality of the final products. Authentic flavours and natural aromas
Levoni has selected and developed their blends of spices together with the greatest flavours and aroma makers in Italy to respect the traditional regional recipes. All spices and herbs are ground and processed in-house right before being added to the mixture to ensure all the aromas and authentic flavours are preserved.All Levoni deli meats are gluten free and lactose free, to ensure that everyone can enjoy the goodness of their salumi.
